Now introducing the Elixir Lounge! Brought to you by Swanky Entertainment Inc., the Elixir Lounge is a casual cocktail lounge and restaurant in the heart of the ware house district Downtown Minneapolis on the corner of First Ave. and Fourth St. The vision for Elixir Lounge is to be a warm inviting place you can come for a great cocktail and a conversation at the same time. Which seems obvious for a bar and restaurant to provide, but finding a bar on First Ave. where you can go and not have to shout over the blaring music is hard to find. The strip is getting saturated with crowded, noisy, bars that specialize in Jag bombs and Vodka Red Bulls. We would like to be the place where you can go to enjoy great cocktails with friends in a comfortable lounge atmosphere. Elixir Lounge will offer affordable innovative cocktails we call elixirs, small plates and appetizers, and creative Panini style grilled sandwiches. A creative emphasis will be on the small plates and appetizers which groups can easily share. Such as truffle Mac and Cheese, variety plates of mini burgers, specialty cheese plates, and mini grilled cheese sandwiches made with Gouda or other gourmet cheeses, and spiced potato wedges served with specialty dipping sauces. We wish to provide these items in generous portions at economy friendly prices ranging from $4-$10 per item. The atmosphere at Elixir Lounge is accentuated with warm earthy colors, elegant lighting, and funky comfortable couches which provide excellent lounge areas for friends to gather. The music and entertainment to be provided will be similar to something you might find in a swanky cocktail lounge in Las Vegas, featuring live acoustic music and eccentric lounge performers. We think our concept will be a great addition to Downtown Minneapolis. We look forward to serving and catering to the business class professionals during happy hour, and the sophisticated late night crowd seeking a unique place to gather with friends for excellent food and cocktails. |
